My Doggie! 00047

I love doing portrait shot especially of children. I love it when the subject is not aware or not looking at the camera.

*** the little girl on the photo is a friend’s daughter and the dog belongs to another friend

Blast From The Past 00046

The photo is supposed to be a B & W but it doesn’t look good, so I took a sepia version.

This is my (and my family’s) all-time fave fastfood goodie. Years ago, when hubby and I were still dating, the value of large fries was less than P20 if my memory doesn’t fail me. Now, it costs almost P50. More than 100%!

Anyways, my fave frenchie dip is gravy and not ketchup. Hubby and B’s fave dip is caramel sundae. Weird! Hahaha.

Looking back in time (a very, very long time ago), hubby and I really enjoyed our movie dates back then when we were still dating. With a P100 budget, a couple can already watch a movie, and eat at McDonald’s or Pizza Hut. No kidding! Now, when we watch a movie, we need at least P1,000 to cover the cost of movie and food.

Green Medicine 00045

It must be the weather. Everywhere I turn to, people have either a cough or a cold or both. Now, I’m adding more fruits to my diet so that I won’t have to drink medicine.

Avocado is my current favorite fruit. I love to eat it fresh, with milk & muscovado sugar. Yum!

Kimmidoll Necklace 00044

I’ve been collecting kimmidoll items for the past two years now but this is the first time for me to see a necklace version. Hubby gave this to me as a surprise gift. Yey!

Can’t Resist 00043

Here’s another temptation photo:

That’s a photo of a very yummy tiramisu. We celebrated my birthday dinner at Circles so you can just imagine how many pounds I’ve gained tonight. I was so full and bursting(!) but this nice looking tiramisu waved from the dessert table so I know I have to have it. Good decision. It turned out that the small bowl is made of dark chocolate. Yumminess!!!

Can’t Wait 00042

Here’s my temptation photo post:

I can’t wait to open my early birthday present from hubby and daughter. I’m turning a decade older tomorrow … pwede pa naman tayaan sa BINGO! hahaha 😀

Meet Barc 00041

Hubby went to Ilocos for a couple of days and aside from food pasalubongs, he brought this for B:

Daughter says it a hermit crab. Please see description here. She wanted to name it, “Crabby” but I told her it doesn’t sound nice. Then she settled for Barc which was Crab, only in reversed form.

Barc now resides in an old tub of Chef Tony’s and is the centerpiece of our dining table. I can see him walking around the rocks and sand. I’m thinking of placing him in an aquarium but since he’s tiny, he might get lonely there. “Dapat pala pair ang dala ni hubby!” 😉

Perfect Pair 00040

I got wet, muddied, stood in line for 4 hours just to enter, stood in line again for another 3 hours to pay for my purchases and in-between, shopped for an hour and spent 3 hours near the stockroom, waiting for a missing pair to turn up.

Here’s my story. I got an invite to attend the preview sale (June 7) of Crocs at the NBC Tent. I wasn’t really excited to go because I’m into FF lately. But then, another friend who attended the preview sale posted his loot- 100 pairs of P49 crocs. OMG!!! I have to go there and do my Christmas shopping. Hehehe.

The weather didn’t cooperate though. As early as 5am on Wednesday morning (June 8), rain was pouring and pouring. Who would’ve thought that it’s going to rain when only yesterday, the day was so hot and humid. But the lure of a SALE (think P49 shoes) was enough for me to brave the rain. What I didn’t expect was the crowd and the mud! And the longest time I spent shopping for shoes. But hey, there’s a Cinderella and an Imelda in all of us. 😉

And this is my greatest find:

I was done rummaging the piles and piles of crocs and was about to go to the cashier’s line when I spotted a grape-colored shoe. It’s a Nahani and it costs only P49. But it doesn’t have a pair. Oh no! Daughter B is really crazy about Violet, Purple, and Mauve, that I know I have to find that missing pair for her. So I asked the sales crew and I was directed to the stockroom. There I met a lot of people who is also looking for missing pairs. We bonded, exchange stories, posed for the Crocs cameraman, and even devised a plan on which cashier line to go (the one with the shortest line, of course). An hour passed by and am still holding a single grape-colored shoe. Also, and I forgot to mention this, those people waiting for their missing pair to turn up doesn’t have a grape. So I am positive that that color is the last pair so I have high hopes that it will turn up sooner or later. But am I brave enough to wait for it until closing time? I just checked my watch, it’s already 8pm. And the ones waiting near the stockroom were beginning to walk-away happy; well, some were not though. I even saw someone swapping her pair with another. My stomach was grumbling also. I missed dinner at home! Another glance at my watch and its 9pm. Sigh. I might not be able to find the missing pair. Sad, sad, sad. Then, there was a minor disturbance nearby and a lady was grabbing my arm and saying, “I saw your violet pair!” (hyperventilates). Oh no! Someone was already holding my pair, and he’s a big looking guy. I then heard myself asking him if I can get the violet shoe that he is holding but he moved it away so I’m guessing he’s silently saying— back-off! Huhuhu. Luckily, the cameraman was nearby and told the guy that I’ve been waiting 4 hours (exage naman sya masyado, 3 hours lang naman) for that shoe to turn-up. The guy relented and gave it to me. Yeyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

I was able to leave NBC Tent by 11pm, tired and super hungry, but happy with my loot. B was half-asleep when I arrived home but smiled when I showed her the violet crocs. 🙂

Kawaii 00039

B and I found these “gems” at Fullybooked Gateway. We were just browsing around waiting for my hubby when I spotted them behind some erasers. I remember how I like collecting cute school items when I was in grade school and high school so I bought a set for B, and a set for me! Hahaha.

Now, I want to buy some erasers (sushi-shaped ones) and pencils (animal-prints). 🙂

Playdate With The Tweenies 00038

Daughter B and I spent the whole day at my friend’s house playing with A and the tweenies. The last time we saw them, they’re still learning how to walk. Now, they’re all over the place. Climbing up and down the bed, walking and bouncing and jumping. And they’re nearing the terrible 2’s also. Literally 2! Hahaha
